GLITCHSCAPE

My contributions: I was responsible for doing most of the work on the Unity side, like menus, sound mixing, player movement, enemy spawning, enemy & player health systems and the system for fixing and protecting the ship. I also modeled general assets like the ship, weapons, etc. but I didn’t have much time to make detailed models because of implementing all of the mechanics. And I also made the music in LMMS.

My friend was responsible for the enemy AI in terms of code and they modelled the buildings, characters and did 2D.

The idea of the game is about the theme in the jam “Repair” where you have to repair your ship by collecting parts while also protecting said ship from enemies that try to get you and the ship youre trying to protect. You can upgrade your weapon, and switch between them. There is also a final boss in the game that changes the level where you dont have to collect the parts anymore.

Glitchscape has also music made from scratch that changes depending the wave youre currently in. Between the waves is an ambient song, and during a wave it gets an action song. And the final boss has their own song.
